Course Schedule

Every week on Friday 9–10:30am in room H1.03.

Topics

In 8 sessions, we will explore the topic Design + AI. You can choose a subtopic of your own.

For your projects, you have to work in groups of 2 people. Each student will have 2 sessions.

In your 1.5h-Session, you should:

• Theorie 20 min: Technische Grundlagen Chancen und Risiken, Systemische Betrachtung
• Praxis 40 min Beispiele Live Funktionsdemo Hands-On
• Mini-Projekt 10 min Design Fiction Artefakt und Future Szenario präsentieren
• Diskussion 20 min 3 Leitfragen Moderation Reflexion der Rolle als Designer*innen

The Mini-Projects

The projects should:

• outline a possible future scenario
• highlight the requirements placed on designers in the future
• show how designer’s responsibilities are changing
